CREMPA
Central Region Milk Producers Association (CREMPA) was established in 1985 as an umbrella organisation of Millk Bulking Groups (MBGS) in the Central Region of Malawi. CREMPA is one of the three members of Malawi Milk Producers Association (MMPA). According to the governance structure in place, MBGs are members of CREMPA while CREMPA is a member of MMPA. CREMPA has over 5,464 dairy farmer members in more than 53 MBGs across central region. In a quest to increase its effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of services to its members, CREMPA has developed a Strategic Plan to position and align itself to the current dairy sector context. besides, CREMPA is in the process of transforming itself from an Association to a Dairy Cooperative Union.
CREMPA provides services such as a capacity building fore MBGs in good governance and leadership, good livestock husbandry practices, animal feeds, feeding and nutrition, animal health, disease and treatment, clean milk production, record keeping and financial management, business development and management among others.
